The Refuge is immersed in a forest, only five minutes away from the centre of Badia Prataglia.
The hotel has 13 double rooms with bathroom; 2 double rooms with bathroom next to the rooms; 2 quadruple rooms with bathroom next door and bunk beds and 2 quintuple rooms with bathroom next door and bunk beds.
The hotel also has a dining room, a convention room with projector and DVD player, a multipurpose room and a small room for meetings.
There is a bar and restaurant as well as a large car park outside for vehicles.
The excursion trails which pass by the Refuge are numbers 60, 72 and the “Sentiero Frassati Toscana“

The forest and learn stories about medicinal plants, monks, friars and elves.

Excursionists will embark on a journey through the beech forest to discover the mysterious life of several striking characters and learn the stories which have made them famous. They will come into contact with medicinal plants, herbs and fruits of the forest.
They will explore meditation which finds a perfect setting in the lights and shadows produced by the sun’s rays or the moonlight filtering through the branches of ancient trees.
They will explore the lives of Medieval monks and learn to heal through the use of medicinal herbs and find out the origins of the monks’ wisdom.


Animal prints... along the trails.

Animals, plants and the weather leave numerous clues as evidence of their presence and their passage: prints, excrement, seeds, leaves, the remains of meals, feathers, bones, dried twigs, catch… The objective of this outdoor experience is to stimulate the sense of exploration everyone has by instinct, by providing methods and tools to enable exploration, to understand dynamics and natural elements which surround us, guided exclusively by instinct, general knowledge and the involvement of all the senses
